Joseph's school project -volcano

They said be creative, involve your family and they didn't send home many other instructions.
So, we made two volcanoes both dormant and added army men to create the element of "size" .
We also so added animals to show it was not well populated. We put different colored beads on the ground /play-doh to make it look more realistic and a helicopter for scientific purposes.
It was a lot of fun and I thought it turned out pretty good for a last minute assignment.

Typing them all would be totally insane but she is my mom, but coping and pasting would be cheating.

I had a little more in the beginning but that was my note to say hi and I love you.
Today I share my love for Heather with out a picture at her request. Soon I send a picture, from my old photos or one of her choice that she sends me.

Leather Jacket bonding time

This is Jacob and Haylee in the their leather jackets. Jacob and Haylee were very good friends.
She prays for him "on his Mission" in every prayer.

This is Julia you can't see her face but you know it is her because she has a book in her hand. She is a wonderful example to all of the other kids too. I think they love to read because she helps encourage and challenge them.

Mariah's turn to shine

This is Mariah in the very front. She played for a season 2006. She was the tallest on the team and could shoot from far out. Her team did not win all their games but they had fun and always had good sportsmanship. This was a little hard for her because she had lost her father in the middle of the season but it was also a good distraction too.
This was the year of the BIG ice storm and many practices were canceled.
We enjoyed going to the games and even some practices. Mariah was happy and we were all happy for her. She was a superstar for them for a while and is a superstar to us for life.
Good job Mariah we love you!!!

Jacob and Julia

This is Jacob and Julia ready for the church prom.
They looked so perfect.
They share a birthday and I think they are okay with that now. We used to tease Jacob that they shared a brain but Julia always had it. They could almost read each others minds. They got accused of cheating when one of them was picking random scriptures I think Jacob and Julia got it almost as soon as it came out of his mouth. Then she just guessed what one he was thinking. I think that is the way the story went I wasn't there but I heard it a few times. It may have been a little hard to understand because of all the laughing they were doing while trying to tell the story.
Well, he will be gone for two years and Julia and I feel that already.
Julia and Jacob were in separable, it will be fun to see them grow in their testimonies and through writing in the next couple of years. This picture is very special to me because it reminds me of the time when they were always together and laughing. The next few years will be exciting as they begin to make those life changing decisions they have prepared for all their lives.
They will become parents and leaders and I know they will be incredible at everything they do. One because I am a Mom and don't believe they could ever fail but also because they love to do the right thing, the right way for the right reasons. I hope they know how much I love them both. I can't ever say it too much.
